First of all Matthew the host is such a nice guy, helpful and there for any questions. Second of all it’s in an amazing location, beautiful views, quiet and so peaceful with nature surrounding you you really get the feel of being in Costa Rica I highly recommend this place and really enjoyed our time! Definitely needs a 4x4 to get to the place however it’s recommended to rent a 4x4 in Costa Rica no matter where you go because of the roads.

The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, the staff are lovely and the location is perfect. I really enjoyed chilling in the hammock outside the dorm room and kitchen is really nice. When I come back to Dominical, I'll be staying here again.

The place itself is very clean and tidy. You really feel at home and cozy. The terrace is incredible. Its big and has multiple couches and tables for any activity (eat/work/chill), hammock - all that overlooking the pool and beatifull surroundings. It has lights and power sockets there as well as a ceiling fan, so you can really be there any time of the day. An excellent opportunity to spot some animals and birds right by your house. We even had baby birds being born on the terrace during our stay. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need. The only place that actually had it all. Pool temperature was perfect, one of the best we had in 3 month travel. And generally built comfortably with sitting area, deep area and a shallow, really nice. Has pool beds and hammock by the side of the pool with tables. Also it closes pretty late compared to other hotels (20 or 22 dont actually remember the exact time but it was late enough). The place is surrounded by beautiful high bamboo trees upfront, green mountain litteraly on the bedroom side and a lot of green big trees in which you could spot a lot of things. We happen to see toucans, squirrels and other diferents colorful birds, even Macau passing by. And at night its a symphony of sounds. The host, RJ, was really nice and polite, came to greet us at our arrival, suggested upfront an early checkin without us even asking and was okay with a late check-out. Recommended a good places to eat and to get a drink. Road to the place is about 5 min on gravel , but alongside a beatifuly running river between the green trees. 5 min drive theres stores, supermarket, restaurants and bars. 20min drive to Uvita.

We enjoyed our stay Rio Lindo. The new owner has done and is still working on some nice improvements to the property. We are looking forward to going back to see all the finished work and enjoy that beautiful pool. He has staffed the hotel with a very friendly crew that make you feel very welcome and taken care of.

Rooms were cosy and better than we expected. Pool was amazing and we spent quite some time just relaxing next to it. Restaurant was very nice with decent selection of dishes. We did a birding tour and guide Juan Carlos was very experienced and professional. We walked some trails and they also exceed our expectations as we have seen lots of birds, monkeys and even peccaries. Staff is just amazing! My mum suddenly had red and swollen feet and they drove us to Dominical to see the doctor (fortunately it was just a bad sunburn!) Marino Bellena National Park is just 25 mins drive away. We would really recommend it for a day trip. Just check the tides before going there, you would need to be there during low tide to get to the whale's tail.

Small hotel for comfy staying. I like personal of this place, especially owner Gilberto🙌 He helped us in any questions- about some things to buy for convenient living at hotel, because it’s new one, about life in Uvita and people there) Apartments with a kitchen and living room in one space, bedroom and bathroom. One conditioner in the bedroom, sometimes at noon became hot) Big balcony, where I had practice yoga every day, fans at living room and balcony. We had all for long time living there and it’s grate) Swimming pool, where you can relax. Majestic sunrise and sunsets there, I woke up without an alarm clock to the sounds of birds singing at 5 am- it’s magical and amazing!)))

Our stay at this beautiful accommodation in Matapalo was simply fantastic! From the very first moment, we felt welcome, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is just a short walk from the beach. The surrounding area and the village itself are lovely and perfect for relaxation – at the same time, we were able to spot some amazing wildlife, such as macaws and sloths. It is conveniently located between Manuel Antonio and Uvita, making it easy to explore both areas. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and of the highest quality. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The hosts provided excellent tips for excursions and activities in the area. You can truly feel that they run this place with passion and dedication! Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning based on a selection of options, accompanied by a small bowl of fruit and freshly brewed coffee. We can 100% recommend this accommodation!
