Lovely, very helpful staff. Full coach transport from San Jose and back, but hired a car and drove to the half way restaurant. Arranged by messaging ahead. Left the car there for free and picked it up on the way back k trough. 3 different tours included in the price. All meals included. Truly a wonderful experience.

Location of the hotel was perfect. Beach on one side and mail street close by. Room was good and awesome breakfast. The pool was good too. All and all we had a wonderful time.

The pretty Pachira Lodge is located 5 minutes’ boat trip from the entrance to the lush Tortuguero National Park.

The surroundings and the rooms were so comfortable, clean and very nicely furnished. The food was inexpensive, not really fancy but good food with plenty of choice. Pool / bar area was gorgeous. Loved the wildlife around too.

The place is amazing! It’s really special to have a bungalow in the middle of the jungle without any windows (just bug screens). It’s nicely located at the same island as the national park so there are a lot of monkeys and other animals around the rooms. We do recommend the boat tour activity and tortuguero hill tour offered by the hotel. Swimming pool was great!

Absolutely amazing unique place. Fun sitting out on the veranda watching the wildlife (we saw Parrots, Racoons, Frogs toads, spiders). Good variety of food and incredible early morning safari and turtle watching tours.

Perfect hostel. Adorable staff. Very comfortable, great location next to the beach and jaguar path. No AC but the fans and open windows were enough!
