The property was just fabulous! We could not find a single fault. It is so modern...ie lighting, projector, power showers, taps....I could go on! In spite of being in the middle of houses, we never heard a sound apart from the birds singing the next morning. Beds so comfortable and everything was new and spotless throughout the cottages. It is also so secure and safe and the location was excellent. I did not meet Kathy, but she was available around the clock should we need anything. She had left fresh milk, and some treats, porridge etc, which was a lovely touch. The seating area outside was just beautiful and private. There is a new sauna...outdoor and a fabulous outdoor bath. We didn't use them as our Stay was short...but will definitely be back for a longer stay and will use them then. We loved out time in Bathlane Cottages and would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Perfect location to hit the mournes. Close to the beach, places to eat etc, has parking & the sauna & cold bath are a welcome bonus after a long day hiking. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful - excellent communication & checking in to see if we were sorted. A lovely property, clean & well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

The location is good, right in the middle of the town, and next to their very good restaurant Mourne Seafood Bar, where we had a great experience at dinner. If there is no free spot left where to park the car next to the hotel, there is a big and free parking spot not far from the place. The room was big enough, the bed was comfortable. We slept well, without hearing too many noises. It's also a good starting place for a walk along the beach or to the castle.
