This place was a real surprise. Everything was great about this place. Rooms large, clean and comfy, very friendly welcome and the absolute highlight: the restaurant. We had a great dinner which we enjoyed very much. Large variety of different dishes and each and every course we had was absolutely good. The same experience we made with the cooked breakfast. Will come back for sure.

Made feel very welcome in the hosts home. Our room with ensuite was stylish comfortable and clean. It was the little touches that made this an exceptional stay. Very quiet too..pretty much all you hear is the birds.

Very good stay. The hotel has very close to major roads and it is easy to get to Hull, Grimsby or any coastal towns. A prefect hotel for sightseeing in the region as there are no traffic jams there. Parking is not free but convenient to use. Everything was very clean and tidy! Very dog friendly! Good breakfast! Amazing staff!

If I could give the whole experience of staying at the Pig Inn more than five stars, I would! We were traveling down from Edinburgh and were going to be arriving late, so I called up to ask whether we might be able to eat at the restaurant. Eileen, (a gem of a person and member of staff - so much so, that my husband and I thought she owned the place!) said that, as the kitchen would be closing at 8.30pm, she could take our orders and the food would be waiting for us once we got there. She actually stayed on the phone with me and read out the whole menu for us to choose what we would like to eat! I couldn't believe it. The food was ready for us when we got there, and was absolutely delicious! Eileen made sure we were happy and comfortable and really couldn't do enough for us. She really made our stay so much more special and memorable. Thank you, Eileen! The premises themselves are immaculate and spotlessly clean and very very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to stay at. I hope we return to the area because if we do, there is no doubt in my mind that we will be staying here. Bravo to all at the Pig Inn! A complete gem of a place.

A lovely friendly welcome from Philippa, a spacious well furnished room. I stayed at the hotel as it was an easy drive to Blyton Park track for my bike training. Secure overnight parking for my bike was very reassuring.
