The host was very kind. She gave us a lot of recommendations: where to eat, what to visit. The hotel is very clean, the room is spacious, with big windows, where if you are lucky you can see a beautiful Aurora. It has a full equiped kitchen, and a place to hang on with your friends. The facility has a lot of board games, ping pong, free coffee. Really recommend it.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.

We had a very nice stay at the Puffin Hotel in Vik. The room was big and very neat and clean. We had a very nice breakfast at the hotel the next morning. There is a black sand beach within walking distance as well as the Live Lava Show/The Soup Company.

This hotel is in southern Iceland, 9 km from Vík í Myrdal. It offers free WiFi in public areas and in the rooms.

The guesthouse undersells itself and has some added facilities. There was a guest fridge and microwave 😍. There is an on site restaurant that you can have dinner at however I was unable to find any menu or opening hours online. They do cook a mean fish and chips. The bed was the most comfortable I've had in Iceland. The scenery was stunning
