The place was amazing and the overall experience was fantastic! The staff, Hatori-san along with his female co-worker whom I forgot the name of (sorry!) was very friendly and always there to assist us with any questions or request. We asked Hatori-san to help us book a taxi to the train station, but all the taxis in the area were busy so he even personally drove us with his own car! Can't imagine anywhere else where we would get this type of service. We were also lucky that there weren't too many other guests at that time so we felt like we had the all the attention ☺️.

Lovely peaceful hideaway close to restaurants and 7/11. The host was very informative on how to use appliances Check in/out was easy. Bbq available but i didnt use it as planned. House was clean and plenty of towels cutlery and utensils. The corvette was a great surprise for the boys in our group😊

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the hotel! We booked a package with breakfast included, and it was very delicious. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and was very clean, cozy, and decorated in a traditional Japanese style. The futons were incredibly comfortable — we slept like babies! Ending the day with a relaxing soak in the hotel's onsen was just perfect. There was a small additional tax for using the onsen, but it was totally worth it. A lovely bonus was the complimentary morning shuttle to the train station, so we didn't have to think about how we would get there.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Fujikawaguchiko, Fuji View Hotel is a ryokan surrounded by views of the garden.

The owner was so nice! The food was excellent! We had the best time. We arrived completely drenched from rain and the owner offered to dry our things and was taking care of our shoes and everything the whole time and he speaks great English. The surroundings is so peaceful.

Everything! The hotel is in such serene setting that all your troubles simply go away. The host was super caring and welcoming. It is on Yamanako sightseeing bus route which departs from platform 6 at Kawaguchiko station. You get off either one stop before Yamanakako Asahigaoka or at Yamanakako Asahigaoka as it is likely you’ll find a taxi there. It is a bit far from Kawaguchiko station, however, it is worth a visit for the peace and quiet you get.
