Great pool, fantastic staff, location was great, very clean and we loved our room. We travelled 24 days around Costa Rica and this was our favorite place.

Very clean with exceptional breakfast. Beds were comfy. Hotel was a short stroll into the centre and we could see parrots (or Macaw’s) in the trees opposite as we were facing the road. Giselle and her team were exceptional and very kind. Only stayed one night but would happily have stayed another if we were spending more time in Jaco.

Situated in Matapalo, 500 metres from Matapalo Beach and 37 km from Manuel Antonio National Park, Raya features spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Lovely place, clean and friendly, fantastic breakfast, only slight negative was the bed was so hard (and we like a hard mattress) a topper would fix this.

With river views, Riverside Villas is located in Manuel Antonio and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden and year-round outdoor pool. We had a fantastic stay at the Riverside Villas. The location is excellent and we even had the chance of spotting several animals from our balcony, especially in the morning, such as squirrel monkeys, macaws, agoutis, hummingbirds and iguanas. Our apartment was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Furthermore, our hosts Charlie and Carlos were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose this accommodation again when being in Manuel Antonio.

Situated in Esterillos, 15.5 km from Hermosa Beach, Marala Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel has a hot tub and room service. This place is amazing. I booked only one night on our way from Uvita to Monteverde due to a misscalculation, and already at the reception I was feeling sorry that we were staying just one night. The welcome was so hospitable and warm, the welcome drink was the cherry on top. Our room was spacious and beautiful, stylish decor, facing the jungle as I had hoped, cause we are light sleepers. They have a lovely pool area over looking the ocean, there is also a bar and a very nice restaurant, which both close at 10pm, so there will be no noise coming to the room from there. Be sure to try the chicken dish and mango monkey margarita! All the staff were kind, attentive and smiling. I hope we can return to this place, it was so relaxing. No need to leave the property at all, but there is a small town center a few kilometers to the south with a grocery store and a few restaurants, if you want to.

Located 300 metres from Carmen Beach, Shark Town Mal Pais offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. With pool views, this accommodation offers a terrace and a swimming pool. The place is very clean and friendly, with a nice concept of the sharks. the room has a small kitchen with everything needed. We had a great time here and would definitely recommend
