This was the best accommodation we had in Cabo Verde (between S. Vicente and Sto. Antão). We stayed here first one night and on the return from Santo Antão we stayed 2 more nights. The staff is really great and friendly. The hotel has just a good size: 11 rooms. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable, hot water worked well as well as wi-fi. TV is more complicated but the staff will explain to you. There are two terraces, one at the reception level and one on the rooftop (where's also a hot tub - jacuzzi). Breakfasts were excellent, with eggs cooked on demand, good fruits and cereals, great coffee, cakes, etc. (and the staff here again so friendly). I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy some privacy, with few guests and to be just in the city centre. We were so happy coming back here after staying 8 nights in Santo Antão.

I loved everything about the accommodations from the location, the space, the breakfast and the comfort. But the thing I liked the most was the hospitality of the owners. Celestina and Carlos went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I would not hesitate to return.

With mountain views, Pousada B&B Le Gourmet is located in São Pedro and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and year-round outdoor pool. The host Carine knows a lot about Sao Vincente and Santa Antao. She shared many tips, and also was tremendously helpful and accomodating when sorting out a payment issue I had with my visa card.

@Georgette features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Mindelo, a few steps from Praia Da Laginha. It's the place to be when in Mindelo. The location is perfect just on Mindelo's stunning clean, turquoise water beach and with a breathtaking view on that same beach over the sea from the high rise balcony with the sun just setting in front of you. The apartment is generously sized and has all amenities needed with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and the cleaning lady can wash your clothes. But most importantly, Georgette and her daughter Claudia and her husband were absolutely magnificent hosts taking me to concerts, a festival, a football game and giving me plenty of useful contacts and recommendations. Of course the latter can't be taken for granted as they are not always around and may not have the time but I was lucky to enjoy their most wonderful Cape Verdean hospitality.

I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel located right in the central square of the city with my son. Its prime location made exploring the main tourist attractions incredibly convenient, as everything was just a short walk away. There was no need for taxis or other transportation to reach nearby restaurants and services. The convenience of being in the heart of the city, combined with the excellent and comfortable rooms, made for a top stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of São Vicente.
