Brucefield Boutique B&B, a property with a garden, a terrace and a bar, is set in Arbroath, 14 km from Lunan Bay, 29 km from Discovery Point, as well as 49 km from St Andrews University. Brucefield B&B is beautiful historic house with peaceful tree lined garden. Oru and Anita were there to greet us and couldnt have been more friendly and thoughtful. Free alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks were avaiable in the lounge area as well as snacks. Free soft drinks avialble in the fridge in our room. Excellent variety of tea and coffee products in our room as well. Our room was large and immaculate with a very comfortable bed. The shower had excellent water pressure and the bath robes were a lovely touch. Breakfast was top notch with smoked salmon and the famous local Arbroath smokie on offer. It was a beautiful 20 minute walk along a costal path into town and good transport links to train and bus station. The lovely coastal walk to Auchmithie is a few minutes away too. Oru and Anita clearly put a lot of effort into anticipating their guests needs, with sun loungers, garden games, dvd library and prefilled music USBSs. Couldn't recommend their B&B more highly and genuinely felt more like a small luxury hotel than what you expect from a B&B.

Balgavies Home Farm - Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Forfar, 32 km from Discovery Point, 21 km from Glamis Castle, as well as 33 km from University of Dundee. we were made to feel very welcome, the hosts are excellent as is the location and the facilities.

Situated on the edge of the Carnoustie Golf Links Championship Course, the Carnoustie Golf Hotel is less than 200 metres from the sandy beach. A wonderful place for an ideal vacation. Peace, comfort, very pleasant and attentive staff. My husband and I visited the spacious spa area. The saunas are really hot and good. The only thing missing in the spa area was some relaxing music to relax, because the pool relaxation area is also cozy, so lying there would be completely relaxing, because emotional relaxation is very important and high-quality. I really liked the breakfast, it's perfect when you can choose from the menu yourself, everything is very tasty. Perfect breakfast view of the golf course with players. Wonderful place by the sea, you can walk a lot. We really liked it, best recommendations for others.

The Old Brewhouse offers accommodation in Arbroath. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There is free WiFi throughout. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV. We were right down at the waterfront; ocean waves, fresh smells and seagulls! We rented the twin room and it was set up for handicapped patrons so it was ground floor (no carrying luggage up a narrow staircase) and huge! Very well organized for anyone in a wheelchair, the bathroom was amazingly well set up! The Brewhouse itself had delicious food and great service. Easy access to any of the sights of Arbroath. We walked the breakwater after dinner and experienced a beautiful sunset, friendly locals and their dogs and incredible waves against the wall.

In Arbroath centre, just 30 minutes’ drive from Dundee, The Townhouse Hotel offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi. There is a restaurant and a lively bar. First of all: The most friendliest, fun and caring staff works in this lovely hotel! James greeted us at arrival, and he made sure that I got a better chair in our oom! Breakfast and dinner is just delicious, and the overall service is excellent. We stayed in room 11. It was a lovely,  clean and spacious room for the 2 uf us. It is not a room with a wiev, but we didn't mind at all. We enjoyed the coffee, tea and bisquits provided to us every day in our room. The room had housekeeping every day which was very nice. So fun to have followed The Townhouse Hotel on Facebook for so long, and finally see and meet these lovely people who makes this place dynamic and fun. Will definately stay here again!

The Park Hotel is in a quiet area, in the centre of this historic seaside town, 800 metres from Montrose Rail Station and the golf course. It has free parking, en suite rooms and a bar and restaurant.... The outside of the Hotel was a bit deceiving it looked just like any other 3 star hotel BUT when you walk inside it is very very welcoming, cosy, clean, comfortable, spaceous, and beautifully decorated in traditional Scottish style. Our beds were very comfortable we all slept very well, no noise no disturbance very friendly housekeepers but what we loved the most was the breakfast and the friendly helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was more than I expected and you were full up by the time you finished, very clean very good quality food, any amount of options. The staff there could not do enough for us they worked so hard (we were at a wedding) and they still were kind and helpful right into the night having served us food early that same day I just cannot fault the staff and want to thank them for their hospitality. We loved Montrose too and we would love to come back, it's a perfect venue for a wedding, the wedding venue looked so cute and had doors that lead put onto a beautifully kept garden (Well done gardeners), the receptionist were super helpful always friendly, I highly recommend this hotel I would go as far to say it was the best hotel experience we as a family have ever had and I think it's because it's very down to earth, family orientated and non pretentious, love it.
