Offering a garden and garden view, Oakdale, Templemore, E41F856 is set in Templemore, 39 km from Rock of Cashel and 48 km from Kilkenny Castle. My companion and I had a lovely stay at Oakdale templemore. Tony, our host is helpful, attentive and charming. Having the possibility to use the kitchen is a real plus, and the offered tea and coffee were a nice gesture. The guesthouse is super clean, and the beds were comfortable. We hope to return.

Baileys Hotel is a listed Georgian building located in the heart of Cashel town. It offers luxurious, refurbished rooms, fine dining, and views of The Rock of Cashel. My wife is our trip planner. She deliberately bypassed the Blarney Castle to come to Cashel. She explained why and I agreed. She asked me to select the hotel in Cashel and I chose this one. I am glad I did. The hotel is outstanding in every respect. Breakfast is included and parking is available just a short distance away. The staff is tremendous. They recommended dining at their restaurant on site, but we wanted to go elsewhere. When we found nothing else open, we returned here. The room was very large with plenty of space and it even had a view of the Rock. The only quirky thing was the bathroom door and the positioning of the toilet seat. It was awkward. Still, we loved our one night in Cashel. The breakfast was absolutely perfect with a perfectly cooked eggs Benedict. If you visit Cashel, this is your place for everything.

Cahir House Hotel is on the town square, by the River Suir. It has a traditional bar, a bistro and a beauty salon, and offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. Great location, was a last minute booking, but we were so pleasantly surprised with the great service, and the closeness to Cahir castle.
