Built in 1903, the iconic Taj Mahal Palace stands majestically opposite the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The Taj Mahal Palace hotel is amazing. It's basically a resort. My room was amazing. I had a view of the sea and it was nice to wake up to beautiful sun rises. The breakfast is amazing from the food options to the views. Dinner options and bar options were awesome. I loved the Japanese restaurant. Also on top of that, they offer lots of fun activities. I got to do a private car tour of Mumbai seeing all the important sites. Then I was able to do a private cruise to the sea to watch the sunset. Also they had yoga in the morning which was great. I was even informed about a Spa and salon facility. They took care of me and my body. I was pampered! This hotel exceeded all my expectations

It was close enough to sightseeing and great shops. We did a few tours around town and got to eat at the restaurants at the hotel. They were amazing!

So amazing…the staff was great and the cocktails too! And the small stuff I liked, I received a towel for my glasses, bookmarks for my books and everything without asking. The breakfast ist extraordinary - never had such a great breakfast in my life!
