Very cozy room. Excellent views of lake and mountain. Amazing location near a puffin colony. Bathroom extremely clean even though not private. Highly recommend staying here.

Set in Skjöldólfsstaðir, Hotel Studlagil offers 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel features family rooms. At the hotel, all rooms come with a desk. What didn’t I like…the stay was wonderful at Hotel Studlagil. The staff person was friendly and even shared a lovely conversation with us in the evening. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in this area of Iceland!

A good location for a relaxing stay in Vopnafjörður, Ásbrandsstadir Cottages is a holiday home surrounded by views of the lake. Small but cosy cabin in an amazing location with mountain views and the sound of sheep in the background. The host was very friendly and welcoming and was flexible about check-out time etc. For all that, the price was very good value.

This family-run hotel enjoys a countryside location by Road 93, overlooking central Egilsstadir, 2 km away. Free WiFi access in the lobby and garden views can be enjoyed. Everything friendly and helpful staff a lovey lounge to rest in free hot tub tea coffee in the room which was a good size and comfortable .. happy hour bar .. modern and very clean excellent..
