It is well maintained, clean and in a perfect location. The breakfast buffet is amazing, there are even mimosas. Lots of space to lounge in the lobby and have fun. It is also quiet and the hallways and rooms are spacious. Lovely stay! The restaurant for dinner was also amazing.

The location is perfect and the outside is so picturesque and beautiful. It had everything we needed inside, beds were super comfy too. The host was really friendly and lovely too :-)

Featuring mountain views, Heima Holiday Homes provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 42 km from Ljosifoss. Our home is well-prepared and all we need is included in it. Due to the flooding and road No.1 was temporarily closed when we stayed there, we needed to stay one more night at Home. Luckily, we booked one more night and enjoyed the warm, quiet vibe, and amazing views around the Home.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, South Central Guesthouse is situated in Selfoss, 48 km from Geysir and 44 km from Ljosifoss. The place was very clean, equipped with a large kitchen and different common rooms to hang out. The room was great and the beds comfortable. The whole guesthouse was probably renovated a while back because it's better live than on the pictures on booking.

The location is fantastic if you're visiting the ring road in Iceland, very close to the thingvellir national park, Geysir park and Gullfoss falls. Saw the most amazing northern lights right from the front porche as it's in the middle of an open field with very low light which made it great :)

These modern, self-catering apartments are located in the village of Hveragerdi, 45 km from Reykjavík. Each offers free Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen and access to a shared, furnished garden terrace.... This is a perfectly located guesthouse as we could easily walk to most of the attractions, restaurants and shops in the town. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and large beds, large bathroom/shower, fridge with coffee and tea and good black-out curtains. The guesthouse is in a residential neighborhood and was very quiet at night. The host was great - he lives next door and popped over as soon as he saw us arrive. In addition to our rooms, he also took us on a tour of the downstairs area which is amazing! There is a full kitchen, games room and living room for all guests to use. Plus, outside was a hot tub which we did enjoy. Our only regret is that we had just one night there - next time we'll be sure to book at least a couple of days.

Situated in Selfoss, 14 km from Geysir, Torfhús Retreat features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Stunningly beautiful property. Staff was exceptional, attentive to all needs. We loved the snowmobiling excursion they booked for us. The meals were perfect, one of the best parts of our stay.
