It is well maintained, clean and in a perfect location. The breakfast buffet is amazing, there are even mimosas. Lots of space to lounge in the lobby and have fun. It is also quiet and the hallways and rooms are spacious. Lovely stay! The restaurant for dinner was also amazing.

Set within 41 km of Seljalandsfoss and 45 km of Thjofafoss in Hella, Loa's Nest features accommodation with seating area. Loa's Nest was the perfect way to end our trip in Iceland. Their guesthouse had extremely easy check in. The entire facility was clean and equipped with everything and more. I would highly recommend this guesthouse for all types of travellers.

We stopped at Midgard Base Camp for one night only and will remember this place, mostly because of an amazing staff that helped us plan out the day and see our first northern lights! If we can come back to Iceland, we will definitely stay here again! Perfect place to wash clothes and dry hiking shoes as well.

We had 2 weeks in Iceland and travelled around the country. We stayed in 5 different locations, all special and unique. But Gljásteinn was a little corner of paradise. Róbert built his house with so much passion and love and respect for the nature around it, it is very impressive. He was there to guide us, to give us some good tips about where to eat, what to explore, and the whole experience was simply wonderful.

Featuring mountain views, Heima Holiday Homes provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 42 km from Ljosifoss. The cottage was very comfortable, warm, enough space inside and lots of space outside. Our son enjoyed playing with the dogs. Remote so good for Northern lights viewing (no light pollution). Close to Golden circle sights. I wish we were staying longer. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare some dinner and breakfast (there is nothing close by, 20min to Selfoss).
