It’s a very nice house with large rooms and bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and available tea, coffee, and various sauces. In the morning, the host treats guests to delicious freshly baked waffles, which is a very nice touch. We were also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights.

Brand new hotel in a remote area. We were able to see the Northern Lights on a low activity night. Even though the description said breakfast was not included when we booked, we were told on arrival that breakfast was included. The hotel itself was very nice and modern.

The cottage was very comfortable, warm, enough space inside and lots of space outside. Our son enjoyed playing with the dogs. Remote so good for Northern lights viewing (no light pollution). Close to Golden circle sights. I wish we were staying longer. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare some dinner and breakfast (there is nothing close by, 20min to Selfoss).
