This family-owned B&B is located in Bíldudalur village in Iceland’s West Fjords region. It offers brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi access and mountain or fjord views. This is the NICEST “hostel” properties I’ve ever stayed at in all my travels!! Every detail is perfect! Exquisitely clean, well equipped, laundry, wonderful breakfast, plentiful WC ratio per guest, two kitchenettes, comfy beds, and excellent views!! My only regret is that I could not stay longer!

Located just 1.7 km from Langisandur Beach, Teigur Guesthouse offers accommodation in Akranes with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Comfortable room and well equipped kitchen. The host very kind and let us used the washer and dryer. The best part was we saw northern lights at the light house near the guest house.

Great room, very comfortable beds! There is also a nice restaurant at the place with great food. Loved the greenhouse with the swimming pool. A big plus, the two dogs and the parrot that are at the place ❤

The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. amazing views, gorgeous location, lovely house, great facilities. the kitchen was fully kitted out and bedrooms were comfy and spacious. dining room had the best view of kirkjufell. would love to come again.

Boasting garden views, Móar Cottage provides accommodation with patio, around 43 km from Hallgrímskirkja Church. The property has mountain and lake views, and is 43 km from The Pearl. The cottage is very lovely. All the check-in and out are contactless, which made things very easy. The room is well-equipped with radiators and everything you need. There's a very lovely and friendly dog as well as a chicken coop nearby, giving us a farm-stay feel experience. My favourite stay on this whole road trip.

The rooms are so modern, comfortable, clean and functional. The restaurant is one of the most amazing places I have eaten at. And we had both breakfast and dinner there. The location turned out to be perfect for the places we wanted to visit.

This family run guesthouse sits scenically on the Snæfellsnes peninsula on Iceland’s western coast, and features views of the surrounding nature from all rooms, as well as free Wi-Fi. We love everything. The room is great with a fantastic view (that we could see the aurora dancing from our window!) The dinner buffet is a must !!!!! The best dinner we had in Iceland :) We will come back.
