Designed to look like a Khmer Buddhist Temple, The Sanctuary Villa Battambang offers an outdoor pool. Fitted with free WiFi, air-conditioned villas present a mix of modern and traditional decor. I'm so happy we canceled our other booking after we didn't like that place, and came here instead. The pool was very fun on the super hot days when we stayed, and the room was spacious and luxurious. A lovely oasis of calm - beautiful rooms, great pool and friendly staff who were very helpful organizing a tuk-tuk tour for us. The room was especially nice - very clean and comfortable. The staff helped sort out any minor issues we had and we really enjoyed our stay.

I prefer wooden furnishings over plastic/ particle board/ metal. Pleased.
