Surrounded by granite outcrops and with stunning views and roaming wildlife, Desert Quiver Camp offers modern self-catering accommodation, located just 5 km away from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei. Our accommodation was stunning! We loved all the rock formations nearby. It's close to Gate 1 I'm Sossusvlei. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, with a good view for sunset. We saw some cute jackals!

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Absolutely everything! This place achieves perfection on every level, and it's the epitomy of what one would dream of, when thinking of an African safari lodge. The entire setup is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. The outside seating area on the large wooden terrace, right at the edge of the waterhole, with trees providing shade, was just perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The pool was perfect too, as was the chalet, and the food was absolutely top-notch. Last but not least, everybody was really friendly and smiling, we felt most welcome. Overall, it's great value for money. Our only regret is that we had to leave.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. Everything. The staff were lovely, friendly and fun. The food was so good, well presented. Two evenings we had bbq in a lovely outdoor space and the other evening a special dinner on the patio overlooking the Plains. Went on two trips, an excursion to soussusvlei and a sundowner trip to watch the sunset from a great viewpoint. Even had time to spend an afternoon by the pool. A great, relaxing few days in the middle of our holiday.

Wow, what a place they have created in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful cottages with a groovy outdoor kitchen and bbq (that’s braii for some!). Very comfortable rooms, great hot showers, pretty good wifi in bar area only and a swimming pool too ( brrrr in june!) staff are so friendly and can provide and deliver food to your cottage. They also supply a kitchen box with all untensils, frypan, saucepan, plates etc. Electric cooktop in outside kitchen plus kettle and fridge. You just sit on your porch and admire the stunning views whilst cooking, amazing!

Situated just 22 km from Duwisib Castle, At Kronenhof Campsites provides accommodation in Sesriem with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as luggage storage space. The fact that Kronenhof is located slightly away from the main routes is exactly what gives it its special charm. The private campsite is beautifully equipped with a spacious, luxurious bathroom and a large covered terrace. There are great facilities for grilling and campfires, as well as a laundry area for clothes. Just a short walk away, you'll find a small pool with refreshingly cool and clear water – perfect for relaxing. We were warmly welcomed and felt completely at home during our stay.

Actually we were re-booked to another hotel Le Mirage. All our feedback is based on the experience at Le Mirage. It happned that Sossusvlei Lodge had technical issues (water supply) and we were re-booked to another hotel. It was organized very smoothly. By the way, we had dinne at Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant and the food was great! Buffet in open terrace. We tasted different kind of grilled meat (Eland, Kudu, beef, oryx).

Located in Sesriem, 49 km from Sesriem Canyon, Neuhof Portion 2 Campsite features barbecue facilities. There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay. Great location about 40 minutes from the gates at Sesriem. We were the only ones here and good facility
