Right on the main thoroughfare so easy to find. Nice beds, furniture and very nice walk-in shower. Even had a jacuzzi tub but never had a chance to use it.

Headlands Estate in Whanganui provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. It was worth staying here, very nice rooms. If you love classic but still modern, this is the place to be and sleep. Nice shower good beds (mattress was not too hard not to soft just perfect) I did love the classic lounge that was taking care off nice and tidy. You can have a nice walk outside. There are some funny (jersey) cows. Nice host very friendly

Very comfortable and clean. Close to central city and with in walking distance of cafes shopping and tourist attractions.. Whanganui is a great city to visit. Amazing art and crafts. Kauri Court Motel and Apartments is a 10-minute walk from Palmerston North town centre and 6 km from Palmerston North International Airport. It is an excellent place. We are very happy to be here. The owner is a very nice guy. He advised and gave us useful information. We will tell our friends to be here if they have a plan to visit Palmerston.

I stayed here for almost three weeks in late 2023 and it was perfect for my needs. This is a very well-run motel. The hosts are professional, friendly, and very responsive to any requests. They obviously care about guest satisfaction and comfort. The room was very clean and quiet. There is a well-equipped kitchenette and a good-sized TV with many channels. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well the entire visit. The location is excellent because it is directly across the road from the Esplanade which is a fantastic urban park with natural bush, formal gardens and lots of walking paths and track, and also (for families) a large playground and wading pool for kids. There's a bus stop right at the gate and it's only a few minutes ride to The Square and the Plaza shopping center. I'm very happy to have chosen Harringtons for my stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again.
