The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was a varied and tasty 'help yourself' and the communal kitchen well-equipped. The laundry room is a helpful addition. Lovely gardens and views and plenty of outdoor seating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Kaiteriteri Reserve Apartments is set in Kaiteriteri overlooking the golden sand beach. The accommodation is air-conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. We enjoyed a fantastic four days in the apartment directly overlooking the beach. While there's much to do and see in the area, sitting on the balcony taking in the view was just as enjoyable. We had everything we needed for a great stay: easy parking, a full kitchen, laundry in the unit and the shop right downstairs. It couldn't be more convenient to walk right down the stairs and onto the water shuttles to Abel Tasman.

Waitapu Springs B&B is set in Takaka and features a spa and wellness centre and a shared lounge. This 3-star bed and breakfast features a spa experience, with its sauna and hot tub. Owners have created a friendly 'spa' atmosphere that is very welcoming, and a great respite from the twisty drives out to Takaka.

Gladstone Motel is a 5 star property in Richmond. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast on request. Quiet and well appointed rooms. No road noise or noise from other guests. Friendly management staff.

Patons Rock Beach Villas is a 3-star property located in Takaka. This villa offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. Beautiful garden and surrounds - we relaxed and spent time in the sun. Self contained and comfortable, everything we needed was there including a washing machine. Leanne was really helpful and very welcoming.
