Situated in Al Ḩamrāʼ, 44 km from Nizwa Fort, Al Hamra Mountain View provides air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. As it was low season we got a room upgrade to the double room instead of the twin room which was highly appreciated. Very nice room and perfect location from where you can oversee old Al Hamra. Nice rooftop terrasse to watch sunset/sunrise. Jebel Shams is just 1h 10 mins from here so can easily be done as a day trip. Owner was very kind and showed us the entire property. Around the house you can find some really cute goats.

Set in Jabal Al Akhdar, Damask Resort provides a garden. This 4-star hotel offers a business centre and a concierge service. Everything ! They upgraded us in a wonderful and romantic room. They decorated for the birthday of my girlfriend, so nice from the team :) The room was very confortable and clean, huge bathroom. The surrounding of the villa was very calm and we enjoyed a lot our stay. Special thanks to all the team, reception, restaurant, so friendly and always smiling! The location is fantastic to explore the town. The rooftop offers spectacular views and the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend staying here and would visit again.

The apartment was definitely bigger than expected and very well equipped. Incredible value for money, would suit a couple or small family. I recommend this place.
