Situated in Al Ḩamrāʼ, 44 km from Nizwa Fort, Al Hamra Mountain View provides air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. As it was low season we got a room upgrade to the double room instead of the twin room which was highly appreciated. Very nice room and perfect location from where you can oversee old Al Hamra. Nice rooftop terrasse to watch sunset/sunrise. Jebel Shams is just 1h 10 mins from here so can easily be done as a day trip. Owner was very kind and showed us the entire property. Around the house you can find some really cute goats.

This is a great hotel and really good value. It was much better than I was expecting. Lovely staff, really clean, nice big room with extra bed for our child. It even has a swimming pool! Buffet breakfast and lunch were good and it’s right next to a big mall and hypermarket, and a water park for kids. Only 10 mins in the car from the main tourist sites of Nizwa Fort and Souq. All in all, a fab stay!

It was at least as excepted, I have only good words for this hotel, personal very nice and helpful, atmosphere was superb, price is more than affordable for this kind of hotel and facilities.

Set in Jabal Al Akhdar, Damask Resort provides a garden. This 4-star hotel offers a business centre and a concierge service. We stayed in a truly amazing villa. Everything is new, clean, and spaceous. The villa had 5 big full size bedrooms with bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms spotless clean and comfortable. The living and dining room were spaceous and well-decorated (the whole villa was well-decorated). The villa had a small indoor swimming pool. Although the size is small, it was still amazing feature, in a well-heated room and the water was nice and warm. They even provided a safety jacket for the kids. Check-in and Check-out was fast, with a nice welcoming drink and snack. All staff is friendly and welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were of good quality. The breakfast was not huge, but everything was fresh and tasty. In the night they had an outdoor cinema for the kids. It was a cold night, but with blankets and a heater, my kids loved the experience to watch a movie under the stars.

The location is fantastic to explore the town. The rooftop offers spectacular views and the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend staying here and would visit again.

The apartment was definitely bigger than expected and very well equipped. Incredible value for money, would suit a couple or small family. I recommend this place.
