Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. We had no idea what to expect from a "pirate hotel", but it was above any expectation! Besides that, it was a wonderfull room, with big balcony, big big bed and all very clean and "piratty". Set in Svenshögen, in a historic building, 34 km from Bohusläns Museum, Hällesdalens Gård - semesterhus i Bohuslän is a recently renovated holiday home with a private beach area and barbecue... An incredible place to stay in a beautiful location! House was spacious and luxurious. Loved the wood fired hot tub and the kitchen was incredible well equipped. Hosts were very friendly and answered our queries promptly. House was also easy to access by bus, with just a short walk from the bus stop. We also loved exploring the local area, including checking out the floating wood fired sauna (didn't use as the sea was a little rough) and the wind shelter. Would 100% stay at Hallesdalen again in future!
