Buffet breakfast was fantastic (and on a Tuesday morning, when other reviews said this wasn’t available).

Situated in Waitsfield, within 45 km of Von Trapp Family Lodge and 4.8 km of Mad River, White Horse Lodge features accommodation with barbecue facilities and free WiFi as well as free private parking... The folks running this Inn are absolutely amazing. We visited in winter and perhaps were the trouble-makers - always getting into a fix. We got stuck in a parking lot because we arrived shortly after a snowstorm. Guess what? The Innkeepers helped us get unstuck! When our car would not start they helped us jump-start it. We stayed only for a few days but we needed some help every day and they were always there for us - a text away! Best service I have ever received and it felt much more personal than when you stayed at a hotel. My travel companion absolutely loved the number of blankets and pillows offered. Since we are used to staying at hotels where only a sheet is provided we were pleasantly surprised. Here, a proper blanket + a fluffy throw greeted us in the room - very cozy! Outside of the room, there are a few common/shared spaces. One such space is the dining area and a kitchenette. The kitchenette space had a shared fridge, electric kettle, and a microwave. This allowed us to bring some groceries so that we could prepare our lunches and hot tea for the ski slopes. When we stayed the kitchenette was also stocked with paper cups and paper plates, which we appreciated. We had an amazing time and cannot say enough great words about this place and the folks who run it!

It was very clean smelling and looking. The beds were comfortable, the showers were clean and had soaps and hair wash, fresh towels, there was a little telephone booth with extra towels, toiletries, hair dryers, etc, and the continental breakfast in the breakfast nook was so cute and thoughtfully done!

From the time we walked in with the front desk staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, it's location, the awesome full breakfast included exceeded our expectation's. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were brand new. I highly recommend this hotel.

Situated in Manchester, 27 km from Stratton Mountain, Reluctant Panther Inn & Restaurant features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Fantastic Inn, beautiful decor , very luxurious. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Outdoor areas were laid out nicely, lovely views from garden.

The White House Inn is set in Wilmington, 3.3 km from Molly Stark State Park and 3.7 km from Harriman Reservoir. Fantastic inn with some of the best and most guest friendly hosts we have met on our many trips. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. My physical limitation was no issue and I was given a parking spot around the corner of our room. The room was beautiful, with fire place and comfi bed. Highly recommended.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Sinclair Inn Bed & Breakfast is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Jericho, 26 km from University of Vermont. Kyle and his family welcomed us and made us feel at home from the moment he answered the door. The room, and the house itself, were simply stunning and everything we had hoped for when booking. Breakfast is continental, but with a different main course each day, all of which was delicious. There were even fresh home made cookies and biscuits placed in the communal living room each day. Kyle also gave us a lot of info and tips on the area and things to do/places to eat too. Can 1000% recommend.
