Don't hesitate - book it! Maho is a pure, peaceful treasure, newly built with all amenities you need & a beautiful pool. It's very quiet & idyllic there. Best bathroom we had in Sri Lanka & always hot water. The bed is pure heaven! Located directly near the old city :) Hosts & staff are priceless - they go above & beyond to ensure a perfect stay! They even look for the best prices in trips & transportation & will tell you everything 100 % transparentely. Food was veeery tasty! Breakfast is included & they additionally offer lunch & dinner as well. It was really hard to leave this stunning place & everyone working there! We even extended our stay. Thank you for everything! Our 3rd time in Sri Lanka was a lot more perfect with staying here :D

The place is small, only one room and a kitchen a a chill out zone outside, but man does it feel nice to be there! Probably one of the best felt places ive stayed in Sri Lanka, John D is a super nice guy who treats you like a friend and the size of the place creates a very comfy and intimate athmosphere. Everything was amazing! Exceptional design of the whole hotel. We have never stayed in such an extremely well designed and well located place (view to the lake)- and even more: in such a „green“ hotel. No plastic!!! Fantastic breakfast and dinner. The staff was amazing and the wonderful manager always around and always trying to fulfill all your wishes! Thank you for everything— and hopefully we will come back!

Everything was quite impressive. Clean and tidy and the staff are good. We had a nice sleep and pleasant experience there after pedalling a very long and endurance ride pushing against the head winds from Mannar to Anuradhapura Special mention - veg breakfast is excellent

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The cleanliness of the accommodation was impeccable, making for a very comfortable stay. Located in a prime area, it was easy to access local attractions and amenities. The owner, Wasantha, was exceptionally helpful and went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. His hospitality definitely added to the quality of my visit. Additionally, the value for money was excellent, making it a great choice for travelers looking for quality accommodation without breaking the bank. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

    Good evening. The place is fantastic and with a garden full of nature. The room is large and clean but the thing I loved the most is the hospitality of the owners, two fantastic people including the daughter, they created a perfect and familiar environment filling us with food cooked directly in their kitchen, fantastic food. what else to say, just staying in this place was worth the whole holiday. Always grateful to these people and their humanity. I recommend it to everyone.

    It was a true pleasure staying here. The accomodation was good. The location is perfect for a bike ride to all the great things Anuradhapura has to offer. Most important for us was the staff.     We had a familly room for 6, it was large, clean and very nice. The outdoor shower was hit with the kids :). Stuff was helpful and nice. The old town was 15 minutes away by tuk tuk. Pool was good. Easy place to stay in. Restaurant was part of the accomodation.

    I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Alakamanda, Anuradapura Sri Lanka, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious and clean accommodations, comfy beds, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. My dining experience at the restaurant was truly exceptional. I would say the best food we had in Sri Lanka in my entire trip.
