it was absolutely perfect! it was walking distance to the local grocery store and across is a really delicious cafe I frequented every morning. there are also many restaurants alongside that road as well for lunch and dinner. The hosts were so kind and you can tell they are very thoughtful and intentional with the setup and accomodations. There was also a shared kitchen that had everything you could need if you were planning to cook your own meals. Incredible value and I hope I can book with them again when I come back!

Very well located close to airport & to Vancouver. It was clean trendy & details were thought of, like positioning of lights, things that a traveller would require on a trip from soaps to sewing kits to the valet system of having our car ready for us with ten minute notice to parking it when we returned Valet was expensive per day but worth it. Saurav was a great help throughout. Oh, gym was fantastic too very well equipped.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) Information

Location and Transport

Vancouver International Airport is situated on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia. Downtown Vancouver is about 7 miles (12 kilometres) from the airport and can be reached in under 30 minutes via rail on the Canada Line. Taxis are available at stands located on level two of the arrivals area, and flat fares apply for journeys to specified zones in the city.

A variety of hotels can be found close to the airport and many offer free airport shuttles. As airport facilities go, Vancouver International certainly has a few unorthodox options, such as a spa, an aquarium, and a dental centre in case you fancy a pre-flight filling.

    Very expensive. Especially the restaurants. Area was ok.

    Very expensive. Especially the restaurants. Area was ok. It was a reasonable ride to Vancouver, not far from the airport. We felt safe in the area where Sandman is. We used Uber to get to the cruise and the hotel shuttle fir the airport. I was surprised they didn't have a shuttle for the cruise ships even if they charged.

    Wonderful area. Clean, beautiful.

    Wonderful area. Clean, beautiful. Close to Steveston Waterfront. You do need a car, but there are so many excellent restaurants and things to do. We enjoyed walking along the waterfront, and the Britannia Shipyards was a must see.
