I really enjoyed my stay, I can’t confirm any of the unpleasant experiences other people write about. —> If you read the instructions properly you are well aware that one of the room options comes with bathroom or shower cubicle outside the room. Showers, toilets and room are super clean. Staff was very, very friendly. It was the perfect stay to get a good nights sleep after a late flight. I slept very well and the room was perfectly locked at night. If one reads the emails properly one is also aware of the 60€ deposit. For the price it was the PERFECT deal, I’m glad I trusted the good reviews. Tipp: in booking.com one can add a note while booking, I’ve added the request to put me not on the street side, so it was quite quiet at night with my ear plugs. Also: walking from Basel Airport is easy, under 20min, or: keep 10€ in cash for the taxi ready.

The place is very close to the airport, 5 minutes by car. I booked the shuttle service, very easy to arrange. The room was perfect and I liked the deco! It has wifi, tv, air conditioning, a mini bar with water, and a very comfortable bed. The window faces a small garden, it was a cool night, so I slept with the window open. The bathroom is modern and has everything you need, towels are provided. There is also a coffee machine and kettle for everyone to use. Very pleasant, I recommend it.

Commealamaison is located in Saint-Louis, just 5.4 miles from Marktplatz Basel and 5.6 miles from Jewish Museum of Basel. The location is in France...and getting there from Switzerland was a long ride. For some reason I did not get the last email they sent (im sure they sent it but my email was probably not right). Very few food joints in the locality. Found an Italian at 20 mins walk which had amazing pizzas. The walk to the airport is between 20 to 25 minutes for those that have a big bag this is a huge consideration and you enter on the French side but go up a floor and then the Swiss and French sides communicate at Basel airport. The flat itself is amazing. Dont get fooled by the lock box at the gate. Go inside to the back of the property and use the lock box there. There are four beds in one room but the lounge is huge and the kitchen very well stocked. Wish we had more time to enjoy the property...the owners certainly need to be patted on their backs for maintaining it well. On the way to the airport we did walk past a tram station so some may be able to use that. Kitchen very well stocked with microwave, fridge, dishwasher and Netflix
