Due to a flight delay, we were forced to stay in Dusseldorf overnight. We booked a guest house and were pleasantly surprised. There is a very pleasant and calm atmosphere here, cleanliness, coziness and comfort. Polite and pleasant administrators with whom we were able to communicate over the telephone. The front desk staff where fast, friendly and very efficient. The restaurant manager hospitable, helpul and professionally catered to my needs. The waitress Emma was exceptional, very kind and willing to assist. True asset to the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and beautiful.

Dusseldorf International Airport (DUS) Information

Location and Transport

Germany’s third largest airport is located just over 4 miles (7 kilometres) from downtown Düsseldorf. The S7 and S11 trains run between Düsseldorf International Airport and the city, with journeys taking just over ten minutes. Another option is to take a bus, which arrive and depart in front of the main Arrivals hall.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

Several hotels are located close to the airport, with one located directly above the airport’s P3 car park. At the airport you’ll find two observation platforms which offer the best views of the runway traffic. There’s also plenty of duty-free shops, places to eat and free WiFi throughout.

Terminal Information

The airport’s three terminals (A, B and C) are all housed within the same building, with a SkyTrain shuttle operating every 4-7 minutes between the terminals and ‘Düsseldorf Flughafen’ railway station. When the SkyTrain is not operating, a bus transfer will be provided.
