Location was excellent! Very close to the airport! We were given a fab tool on the 5th floor and we had a bedroom each plus 2 balconies (my bed was in the kitchen/sofa and my pal slept on the Twin Room. The kitchenette was very handy plus fridge for cooling our drinks. Our rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were lovely. The €8 buffet breakfast in the Gala hotel was wonderful each day! Thanks. We will return.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and big and there was a fridge in the room. People at reception helped us with a smile all the time and made us feel at home. Big breakfast with a lot variety. Hotel on the seaside with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Can Pastilla is at just a few minutes by taxi from the airport and about 15 minutes away from Palma city centre.

I could hardly imagine that someone would doubt this wonderful hotel. From check in to check out, the kindest staff and lovely facility. Room was very nice, recommend to book a sea view room, well worth it. Food was really good both at breakfast and dinner. It's efficient, well run and friendly place. Hi. My name is Kerim. Young guy)), 35 years old. I am from Kazakhstan, I live in the city of Shymkent. We visited the city of Palma de Mallorca after the city of Malaga. We arrived late in the evening, at 23:00. At the airport, the staff was asked how to get to the hotel. We were offered to use the A1 bus. It turns out that buses run until morning. We got on the A1 bus and went to the hotel. At the hotel we were well received at the reception. We organized our rooms by pre-order. We booked two rooms. One for me, the other for Mom. They all explained to us how to get into the room, how to open the doors with a card, how to turn on the electricity with a card by inserting the card into the socket for the switch. They said that in the morning from 7:00 to 10:30 breakfast is served free of charge. We really enjoyed the breakfast. It was very satisfying, and the choice of dishes was great. The hotel room is clean, cozy, well-maintained, has all the amenities, including a shower and toilet. There is an elevator, it is very convenient. The area is very quiet, calm, the people on the streets are cheerful, positive, kind, welcoming, sociable. Since we arrived at night, we found a burger king nearby. Even at night, the locals were very kind. Overall, 100% security, 100% warm welcome, good neighborhood and 100% good neighbors.

Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) Information

Location and Transport

Palma de Mallorca Airport is just over 5 miles (9 kilometres) from the city centre, meaning a bus journey takes only 15 minutes. Line 1 runs every 15 minutes and stops off at most points of interests, while Route 21 runs every 30 minutes and calls at several hotels along Palma beach. There are no direct train services from the airport, but taxis can be prebooked or found upon arrival.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

Plenty of coastal hotels can be found close to the airport, so there might even be time to sunbathe on the beach before catching a flight. Inside the terminal, there’s a number of duty-free shops, restaurants and VIP lounges.

Terminal Information

Palma de Mallorca Airport has just one terminal building but this is split into four concourses (A–D). Concourses B, C and D handle most international flights, while concourse A mainly handles domestic flights. Each concourse is connected to the main terminal building via a travelator.

    Honestly don't get why you'd come here.

    Honestly don't get why you'd come here. The beach was nice, the bars were alright but you're on a Spanish island and this town has no Spanish in it. Its an English town with loads of Germans down the road in Arenal. Come here if you want to be overcharged on poor hotels, see cockroaches roaming the streets, be served overpriced cocktails by English staff. Don't come here if you want a true Spanish trip. For that I'd recommend Palma itself or somewhere in the north of the island.

    Playa de Palma is probably the best beach and swimming...

    Playa de Palma is probably the best beach and swimming experience I've ever had. The sand beach is nearly perfect, the water is crystal clear; it is a very shallow entry beach – something I usually dislike – but in this case it makes fun swimming 200-300 m off the cost and returning back. Very beautiful promenade. Lots of restaurants and shops. A half-hour away from the city of Palma, which is magnificent. Overall, a great sea resort experience.

    Can Pastilla is a very peaceful town with a large, beautiful beach and many great places to walk. The promenade to Palma is perfect for running. Unlike Palma, it’s quiet and relaxing, with excellent restaurants. Highly recommended!

    Playa de Palma is beautiful with a beautiful beach and many places to find a drink or meal. The only major drawback is that the hotel feels more like a “mini Germany,” since it’s a very popular holiday spot for German travelers. If you’re hoping for something that feels more local, just keep that in mind.

    We stayed at Hotel Illusion Calma where Staff are really welcoming & helpful. Great variety & quality of food at both breakfast & dinner. We had a lovely corner room with balcony over pool, beds & pillows very comfy and housekeeping excellent. Location is so good, beach just a few minutes walk away & you can also walk along the coast all the way to Palma, fabulous! Can Pastille has lovely mix of locals who seem very happy to be surrounded by tourists All inclusive is fantastic value.

    Not my favourite area of Mallorca.

    Not my favourite area of Mallorca. It feels a bit lads holiday/staggy with kebab shops, tattoo shops and fish pedicure bars everywhere, and there are some unsavoury characters selling 'items' on the promenade who approach you, which I hadn't seen anywhere else on the island. We were there as an adult couple, but wouldn't be bringing children here in future. The plusses are the proximity to the airport (although it's probably an hour by public transport to Palma city itself). The beaches are clean, and it is reasonably priced to eat and drink in this area. But I wouldn't come back - there are far nicer spots elsewhere.
