The host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help me — they assisted me in finding another property, checked in on me, and even offered me a ride. They were extremely responsive and thoughtful throughout my stay.

We were involuntarily stranded in Gatwick during transit and needed a place to stay late at night with 2 children, close (actually walking distance!) to the airport; self check-in works perfectly. Cristina offers 2 lovely appartments providing everything you need (including a nice coffee/tea- and breakfast-setup! it's tastefully and thoughtfully furnished - there are even USB sockets (something we were in desperate need of as for our “short” transit we didn’t bring any UK-plugs) and Netflix provided. Communication with Cristina was so kind and accommodating and despite the stress we really got to calm down there. Thank you so much - 10/10

The only minor issue was a slight confusion about the distance from the airport. It takes around 35 min. By foot. You can use the trail through the park. Taxi is 20 quid from the airport.
