Set amid the shops on Alton's main street "Not to be confused with Alton (the home of Alton Towers) in the Midlands" the Swan Hotel is a historical building that dates back to 1377. We had a warm welcome at the reception desk. The room was sufficient. The breakfast is particularly good. The personel very kind. The menu for diner offered enough choice. I would sincerely recommend the Swann Inn if You go to Alton, Chawton, Winchester. A perfect place to be.

It is a very some park with only 6 cabins and very peaceful. Helen the owner was the most welcoming person I have ever met and she really made our stay feel even more special.
