the lady was absolutely brilliant as I got lost en route but she was very good at directing me to her house . the room was of a high quality with a fridge microwave coffee maker and kettle. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

The room was decorated with such care and the host Anna was so gracious. She reached out to me as I had a late check in and even had a glass of wine ready on arrival! I had a hire car and she provided a picture of the parking! I stayed again at the end of my trip. It was great to be back! The view in the morning is so lovely feom the balcony. I walked 5 minutes to the airport. It was so convenient. Checked in for a long flight feeling refreshed after a busy vacation! Thanks Anna!

It’s very close to the airport as we arrived last flight and late. This the place that we don’t need a taxi to go to town .just cross the street after walk along from rigth side of airport exit about 10min. It’s seem dark at night but it’s ok to walk with our l5 luggages but nothing around there only 1 pharmacy. actually we should organize our food with us as it no shop around and we didn’t know that the apprt has full kitchen stuffs that can cook..when we arrived , we were confuse about which house is it. It the first house of the road and owner called us and that lucky that they knew is us.

They offered a shuttle from the airport as we had bikes in bike box's and the airport offered no oversized storage. We had a great breakfast for our first night and last night stay in the Balkans, and on our first night our one friend wasn't arriving until the early evening and their chef cooked us up a great tasting and late supper.

Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) Information

Location and Transport

Dubrovnik Airport, also known as Čilipi Airport, is Croatia’s third-busiest airport, located 10 miles (15 kilometres) from central Dubrovnik. The most convenient way to travel between the airport and city is by taxi, costing around HRK 250 (USD 40) one way. The cheapest method is to take the bus. The Atlas Bus departs upon arrival of every scheduled flight and costs HRK 40, while a public bus (Lines 11, 27 and 38) departs 3-4 times a day and costs HRK 28.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

There are several villas and a hotel within 1 mile (2 kilometres) of Dubrovnik Airport, in case you need to stay the night before a connecting flight. Most properties provide a shuttle service. Dubrovnik Airport’s most extraordinary feature is the Đurovića Cave. Hidden beneath the runway, this centuries-old cave is entered through a 37-metre long tunnel, beginning in the Skycellar Wine & Souvenir shop. Other useful facilities available include currency exchange, luggage wrapping and duty-free shopping.

Terminal Information

Dubrovnik Airport has three terminals, although Terminal A has been permanently closed for passenger traffic. The new Terminal C building is next to Terminal B, which handles arriving passengers.

    Friendly, helpful, and genuine owner, who was very kind and accommodating. Fresh figs on the table! We highly recommend this property for anyone who needs a walk-to lodging from the airport. There is even a diner 2 blocks away.

    The hosts where wonderful people, very friendly and made you feel right at home. The accommodation was very handy for closeness to the airport. Only a short stay but there was shops and restaurants nearby and you weren't far from the main road for easy access to wherever you were planning to go to.

    Very laid back place to visit ,amazing scenery ,very nice helpful locals and only ten minutes from the airport.Really nice walks in the area and a very good bus service to Dubrovnik.Food was really good and reasonably priced .

    Komaji is a friendly little sleepy village, close to the airport. No shops but the local supermarket was on the main road half a mile from the airport. (Great little restaurant/cafe tucked behind). Meat counter only open in the morning. Cavtat, the local town, is a beautiful little seaside town 20 mins north offering everything you would want. Great cafes, restaurants, ice creams to die for and a suberb bakery, with the most amazing romantic sunsets over the sea. There are some wonderful little eateries in rural locations offering local dishes to the south and east. A great little private and relaxing holiday villa location. PS you'll need a hire car.

    Room was clean.

    Room was clean. Website says has restaurant with a la cart menu…. since it was Sunday and we were the only guests, manager offered to cook spaghetti which I don’t eat…and referred us to a pizza place, which turned out to be good . Breakfast was personally cooked for us since we were the only guests. Most stores nearby were closed because it was Sunday. Location to airport was good. Would recommend ONLY as an airport hotel.

    Great location with many bars and restaurants. Seaside location is fantastic. Town is clean and well maintained and away from the very busy Dubrovnik Old Town. It is on the flight path to Dubrovnik Airport but you don’t really notice the planes. BBQ restaurant was good value.

    In the beautiful Konavle valley, not far from Dubrovnik, Čilipi has a small but interesting ethnographic museum across the square from St. Nicholas church. Try to time your stay to see the folk dancing. A short drive away you will find the Sokol Grad fortress and a restored Rector's residence. Be sure to visit the amazing Konavoski Dvor restaurant.

    Highly recommend this for a stay of a few days.

    Highly recommend this for a stay of a few days. Great place to relax after a very busy 2 week tour of Slovenia and Croatia. Very walkable, lots of good restaurants. Enjoyed a very affordable sunset cruise.
