The location is the best,just cross the road from domestic terminal. The building is beautiful.The room was nice and tidy. Very close to Lawson store or 15 mins walk to a big store. The host was super helpful and polite. Before staying here,i read many negative comments about this place.But after my staying ,i understand both ways.Their house ,their rules,if you can't accept it don't book it. (but i know that people want to check in earlier)

This is a beautiful hotel 1.3km from the airport subway, I don't mind a walk, so I found it really convenient to take day trips. Staff speak Japanese only, but google translate makes communication easier and they were very helpful. The larder filled with snacks and drinks was great. The bathing area in the room I had was bigger than a lot of the rooms I have stayed in Japan. Highly recommend if you don't need to be in middle of fukuoka.

Great for solo travellers as well. - nearby Supermarket that sells bentos, just be sure to grab chopsticks or plastic spoons at the supermarket as there's none in the apartment. - near Higashi-hie station, which is a big plus - Have some Izakaya and Joyful Cafe nearby Wifi: - Strong wifi connection, great for those working remotely. - TV that shows local channels Apartment: - Has all the appliances needed for my stay - house manual that has English, Korean and Chinese translations. - The sofa bed was comfortable - check-in was swift and easy I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling in Fukuoka!     We loved the Sumiyoshi area as it was relatively close to Hakata Station (15 minutes) and all its shops and restaurants. Not far to Tenjuin by train and more shops and train connections. We really enjoyed the cherry blossoms around Fukuoka and the lovely range of spring flowers, especially the tulips and emerging azaleas

    I spent most of time visiting other parts of Kyushu ie Saga...

    I spent most of time visiting other parts of Kyushu ie Saga Prefecture, Kumomoto Prefecture and Kagoshima, Munakata and Oshima Island. For my next trip will spend more time in Fukuoka. I took a bus tour to have a view of the city. The first half was interesting, going over the famous bridge and seeing the waterfront. But the second half was boring. Just looking at traffic.

    Fukuoka is definitely a gem for travellers - from city area to country sides. Locals are friendly and the attractions I visited were wholesome and eye opening. The food especially ramen was good. Transportation-wise, it is fairly easy to navigate around Fukuoka, we have the bus / train / JRs / even walking. It is recommended to adjust your pace for your travelling schedule to avoid being burnout - You will walk a lot during your trip.

    Loved the city - quiet night, we walked along from our hotel in a busy small street to an all-Vegan restaurant (Bogoro All Vegan) and walked back. it was a great experience. Don't miss Canal City Hakata - it's expensive but worth a visit.
