Great breakfast, very good smoothies i missed it one day because i was out shooting the sunrise with the temples and didnt make it back in time but, they still made me some breakfast once i was back. Wonderful staff all around that go above an beyond to make your stay enjoyable. You can rent one of their many e-bikes they have so you can visit all the temples an sites in the area without having to find a rental store. Spoke good english. The rooms are as good as the pictures are very spacious,  comfortable clean an cool.  As well as the rest of the property everything is well kept an nice. I enjoyed my stay here very much. Ide say top 3 favorite hotels ive ever stayed at.

Well located, around everything you might want / see / need. Rooms are large, as well as the shower, all clean. Staff was ok, but they can be better... breakfast was good, and the restaurant in general. They helped me to get a e-bike.

Located in the historic city of Bagan, The Hotel @ Tharabar Gate features an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful (like all Myanmar people!). The set up of the reosrt is beautiful with nice little 'houses' in great and well kept gardens. The swimming ppol was in good order and so was the overall property. The room was spacious and fortunately very clean. The resort spa was small, but of very high quality - excellent massage with superb price quality - take one every dauy before dinner! I found it difficult to find a good and safe hotel in Bagan with little (recent) proper reviews - hence also my more extensive review of this nice and 'great pick!' hotel. Location is excellent and very close to all sights. Breakfast also ok for Western travellers. I will certainly look to return with my family. Everything - the most friendly and welcoming staff I have ever met. The food is excellent and everyone from reception to restaurant takes great care of customers. They upgraded my room for free. Situated in Old Bagan. Most places are very easy to reach. Will certainly come again.
