Situé à Mulu et offrant une vue sur la montagne, l’établissement Mulu Homestay propose un jardin. The location of this homestay is the best part about it. It's a 2 minute walk from the park entrance while still giving you the feel of being outside of the park. They kept power on the whole time so we could still charge things throughout the day and keep the fans on all night. At nights the rooms cooled down and were comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but we were the only people here so it felt private.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. Best feature was staying in the park and being just a few minutes walk from HQ and the cafe. We had some power issues on the second night and third day but it was dealt with expeditiously. We didn't use it but there is laundry service available.

The host Helena and Shania was supportive. The room had 3 single beds. Initially I thought it would be a dormitory type of stay. But they have multiple rooms. It is a budget homestay. They prepare dinner and lunch is you ask for. Prices are at par with Mulu park restaurant.

The food was delicious. Rooms are spacious. Fan ceiling. Beds were comfortable. A 25 minute walk to the Mulu National Park or if a 5 minute ride. They are expanding so expect some construction during the day. Also this is not a luxury stay, but a modest homestay.

James was so friendly! he picked us up to mulu airport and then he explained everything that we needed to know in Mulu village and in the National park ! rooms are simple but comfortable! great for staying a day before and after your expeditions around gunung mulu national park ! as well breakfast well prepared and in case that we needed he drove us around! i will sure be back at homestay ! thanks heaps !!!
