I arrived late and Lionel was very accommodating and made me feel welcome. He gave me ongoing travel information and dinner recommendations. The room was comfortable and clean. The rear yard was lovely and lush, when I looked in the morning. I only wish I had more time to stay a few days. Lake view from the front balconey too.

Perfectly situated on the lagoon, this beautiful property is a great place to stay to visit Cano Negro. Really well run with care by Andrea and his team. We were the only guests during low season but I’m sure the experience would be good during peak times. The rooms are air conditioned which is huge in such a humid area. The food served is fantastic, made with fresh ingredients on their farm. The lagoon boat tour was the highlight where we got to see so many birds, reptiles, monkeys. Going during low season allowed us to be one of few people on the lagoon and the river.

We got great support from the reception to book tours. The staff are very friendly and professional. The food is excellent, the chef is very professional. The whole facility was very clean. The manager and his family are very welcoming. We highly recommend this place.
