Hotel manager Vikram very nice and responsive person who take care of all our needs from tickets registration till paperwork with airline during our flight delayed. strongly recommend!

The owner / host, D Sherpa, was incredible. We didn’t get in from our hike until after 11PM, and he was waiting up for us upon our arrival with hot ramen soup and tea, and the property was ready with hot showers and comfortable beds. We were stuck in Lukla due to Kathmandu protests, flights weren’t coming up. D Sherpa arranged well priced and safe transportation for us by using his many connections across Nepal, and was able to organize it and send us off within 30MIN of his making calls. D is a life saver, and the property feels like a cozy home away from home.

The hospitality of the host was exceptional. Nothing was too much for Lakpar Laman( sorry if I spelt your name wrong). Lakpar ( the owner)was really helpful and sorted out any issues that we encountered,with a smile.He went above and beyond what was expected of him as a host. And the food??. Was to die for. Food was really good and the portions were great. We also gathered a lot of general information about Nepal and the owner made time to talk and explain things to us. I would certainly recommend Lama hotel and would definitely stay there again if I’m in the region.We found that we were not just treated as a number but as people that are valued and respected. It was the first time that we got complimentary water and even coffee before we checked out. The room was high and we could see Lukla airport from our room window. The room was as in the photos and was very cosy. We got our food delivered to our room which was a luxury for us in Lukla

Vegetarian Daal bhaat and thukpa were the best so far on the ebc trek. Sharada was a wonderful host who speaks fluent English but was generous and patient in teaching me Nepali. The rooms are new clean and fresh. Brand new carpet on the floor!! I had a fantastic mountain view . Located in a great easy to find spot in the centre of this small village.
