Marie-Aline, the owner of MARL Self Catering was very helpful and kind. She drove me to the supermarket and Eden Island for free. The apartment was very clean, well decorated and equipped as well as spacious. The location is very quiet, the planes do not make any disturbance. Very close to a bus stop going to Mahé and also a nice little beach only 5 minutes by bus. I highly recommend MARL.Guest review bymichèle - 10.0

There is a small island across from SPV on Cerf, and snorkelling to the RHS of that island, just beyond the reef is excellent. Richard and Kate are doing maintenance work on SPV and have cut a short walk to a great sundowner spot above SPV - make sure you walk up there. The option to kayak around Cerf takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours and is also recommended - but if the wind is up, then make sure you are two people in one kayak, otherwise your stretch into the wind could be tough. Cerf Island is an idyllic island on which to be based, and SPV is the perfect base for 3-5 days out of a 7-10 day experience in Seychelles.Guest review byJohnSouth Africa - 8.0

First of all it's located not far from the airport which is a big advantage taking into account the narrow road. It's a quiet place, we didn't see other people on the beach, we were always swimming alone and having all this paradise place just for ourselves. There are many small food shops aroud within short walking distance. There are nice restaurants nearby, very good food of different kind. Out choice was Greenhouse, we thought it was the best. Walking along the toad is not so comfortable, but you get used to it very quckly.Guest review byOlgaRussia - 8.0

Mahe is very busy so if you do not like a quiet getaway this Island is for you. There are various beaches to visit, museums and art galleries. Be mindful of public holidays, many places are closed. Saturdays are half day and Sundays they closed. Plan your stay and excursions so you are aware of what will be open and when. Food is great, visit the Boat House and Beach Shack at Beau Vallon.Guest review byNelSouth Africa - 10.0
Lovely island to snorkel and kayak.
Lovely island to snorkel and kayak. You can go for a short hike. No vehicles on the island. Great place if you want to relax. Sole repairing and quiet. We had dinner at Villa de Cerf every night which was excellent.Guest review byNelSouth Africa - 10.0
A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches...
A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches or other POI`s. But the roads are narrow and you drive on the left, so you have to be careful. The buses have a schedule, but they don't necessarily follow it, and you don`t want to wait for it on the side of the road, in the heat. If you're the all-inclusive type who stays in one place from start to finish, then forget about the car.Guest review byMitzecatzeRomania - 10.0
Cerf Island was lovely for a couple of nights.
Cerf Island was lovely for a couple of nights. It's only 10-15mins on the boat from Mahe but is so different. It's very small and there is very little to do, but that's part of the charm. It's so chilled and relaxed. Perfect for a bit of kayaking, snorkelling and sunbathing.Guest review byKateUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Mahé – A True Paradise
Mahé – A True Paradise Mahé captured our hearts from the very first moment. The island is a beautiful blend of lush green mountains, stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We loved exploring its charming beaches like Anse Royale and Takamaka, snorkeling in warm waters, and discovering hidden local spots. Every corner felt like a postcard — vibrant, peaceful, and full of natural beauty. Mahé offered the perfect balance between adventure and pure relaxation, and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. We can't wait to come back one day!Guest review byRoyIsrael
