We liked everything about Domes Aulus Elounda. Our room was spacious and modern, the bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the a-c was unobtrusive and the view was incredible. The all-inclusive elements are managed with care and we particularly enjoyed the Cretan specialties that were always part of the buffet. We also ate in the grill restaurant and the sushi restaurant so there are multiple options for dinner, which we really enjoyed. We went to the beach every day and loved the beach bar with really tasty sandwiches and salads that you can just help yourself too. Beyond the practical, what we really appreciated was the atmosphere of genuine care the hotel staff worked really hard to create. Their hospitality was really outstanding. No request was too much trouble and we felt really looked after. Examples include Nikos at the beach bar who works really hard to create interesting Greek cocktails for the guests and who chats with genuine interest to the guests and Zoe in reception who always responded incredibly cheerfully to our questions and organized a late check out for us with no fuss at all. We are already planning a return trip! It was exceptional.

Our recent stay at the InterContinental Crete was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a stunning sea view room, which set the tone for a truly memorable getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and genuinely eager to assist with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. The hotel itself is modern, luxurious, and recently built, with elegant design touches that create a serene and upscale atmosphere. Everything from the lobby to the rooms exudes comfort and sophistication. We were especially impressed by the abundant and delicious breakfast, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options each morning. It was the perfect way to start the day. One of the highlights of our stay was relaxing on the sunbeds by the infinity pools on the 5th and 9th floors. The pools offer breathtaking views over the Aegean Sea and a calm, peaceful ambiance that's ideal for unwinding. To top it all off, the hotel kindly accommodated our request for a late checkout, allowing us to enjoy just a bit more time in this beautiful setting. Depends on what you expect… If you’re looking for a quiet place, far from the noise of mass tourism, with very friendly and welcoming staff, a great breakfast with mind-blowing views of the bay and mountains… If you want a room with a private pool so you can jump straight into the water from your terrace… If you expect your room to be cleaned every day and your coffee machine to be refilled with fresh capsules… If you expect to have a nice beach near to the hotel without crowd, almost just for you... If you're looking for a truly great vacation in Crete......then you should definitely book this hotel. If you're expecting something else, go somewhere else, but you’ll probably regret it. ;)

We chose half board, both breakfast and dinner was above and beyond!! Many options from fresh grilled fish to beef fillets, traditional Greek cuisine, such as gigantes, stuffed peppers with feta cheese as well as spaghetti bolognese and carbonara, my son's favourite. Soft drinks and wine are served free of charge at dinner time. A variety of Mediterranean salads to choose and cretan olive oil in loose for customers to use. On street free parking very handy. The beach is literally across the hotel! Staff extremely helpful, smiley and friendly . Strongly recommend for families and couples as location is very central,without being noisy Everything within walking distance. King size memory foam mattress- superb!!

We had a wonderful stay, the resort is not only great but its' staff are amazing!! Thanks to the F&b team, especially Niko (he is unique and the best person we met during our stay), Dany, Emanuela and also the GM (Marius). They were always very helpful and smiling all day.
