The Starling Hôtel Résidence Genève is located 400 metres from the Faculty of Business and Economics. It features modern studios with a kitchenette, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a variety of bathroom amenities. This is a friendly hotel with a good location in Geneve city center. The people working, from manager to lobby staff, were all so friendly, smiling, helpful. They offered free coffee and tea all the time in lobby area. Plus, if it’s rainy they offer umbrellas, they offer clean towels&slippers any time you want during your stay, also free public transport card is a bonus. Rooms were so comfy; especially the studios. Fully equipped Mini kitchens were useful; you might do market shopping and eat anything in your room during your stay. It was few stops with tram departing just outside the hotel to reach city center. Also a nice and short walk is possible.

A breakfast buffet is available every morning. Great little place opposite Geneva train station. Rooms are modern, albeit small, but have everything you need within a compact space. If you are using it for sleep and shower it is perfect. Michael on reception was so lovely and could not be more helpful. Made my brief stay tres enjoyable! Would definitely recommend unless you specifically prioritise room with large space.

The location’s perfect for exploring and reaching all points of Lausanne. The bldg is a few minutes walk from the train yet somehow feels private. We enjoyed the ice cream shop next door and the nearby stunning lake walks. The building is immaculate and the apts well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the Asko washer and dryers offered free in the basement. The weekly housekeeping service helped quite a bit. We stayed a month and easily could have stayed for many more.
