The back balconies are perfect for breakfast with a coffee. The bedding was very clean and elegant apartment, overall it was very clean. I could repeat. The apartment is incredible. If I could give 10 stars, this apartment would get them! I am just back from a three day trip to lovely Schwerin, my first - but definitely not last- visit to this interesting old city with a lot of history. I was attracted to Dirk’s apartment because it promised quiet rooms and we only had to climb up one flight of stairs ( travelling with my 90 year old mum, this was paramount). And the apartment kept what was promised! A peaceful oasis with a big balcony overlooking apple trees ( and some other apartment buildings). We were really lucky with the weather and had breakfast in the sun. Everything we needed was supplied- lovely bedding, comfortable very big double bed and sofabed, cuddly fleece blankets, soft and plentiful towels. The kitchen was superbly equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, even a dishwasher! Toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Proper beautiful wine and champagne glasses, stylish crockery, plenty of spices, coffee and filters. There’s a washing machine in the spacious bathroom. Lots of great artwork in all rooms. I adored this place and wish I could stay forever!! It’s situated 5 minutes‘ walk from the dome and old town with its many shops, restaurants, cafés and icecream bars. And as for Dirk- a heartfelt THANK YOU for all your help and advice and immediate replies when we were delayed on the train journey! Dirk was incredibly proactive and helpful and made sure we were supremely comfortable. Highly recommended!!!!

Perfect place! Big apartment and really comfortable with all you need! The kitchen is ver big so you can cook. Outside you can find a beautiful garden with apple tree, amazing! The location is perfect! Very close to the city centre and the castle, you can find a supermarket very close. We had a perfect time there!

The best thing for the Unikat is their location. Everywhere in Schwerin is one step away. Even it was really close to City Center, there was no voice around. Also cleaning of the property was perfect because whole flat was renewed. We really felt at home.

    location was superb, Dirk met us at the apartment with keys but there was also a box . We loved this apartment, you could eat out on the terrace, and hear the music from the church. Dirk the owner answered all our questions through booking.com as he didn't speak english, so it was translated. All very good

    Perfect instructions for entry into flat with pictures to make clear what we were looking for. Host says she wants you to feel this is your home from home and the apartment certainly does that. Well thought out, excellent quality of appliances and so many little comforts considered for your stay. Everything was immaculate and spotless - biggest tv I have ever watched !!👍

    One of the most beautiful, comfortable and modern apartments we have ever stayed in! Design and decoration are top, all was super clean as well. Very helpful info materials and everything you could possibly need was available. Communication with the host was speedy, professional and friendly. Location could not be better, easy to reach everything we wanted to visit in Schwerin, castle, lake, old town, cathedral, restaurants, shops, Mecklinburger Staatstheater. Thank you for everything Cristina!

    Vey quiet and comfortable ground floor apartment in the Schelfmarkt district which is very conveniently situated for the Rathaus and some good restaurants. ('Zur guten Quelle' is recommended: https://www.gasthof-schwerin.de) Ideal for a short stay in Schwerin and for exploring Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Bus No.11 from the 'Schelfmarkt' stop, opposite the apartment, gives easy access to the main station. Local transport system is: https://www.nahverkehr-schwerin.de/de/fahrplaene.html
