You could not expect more from a seaside residence. The room (or I should say apartment) was quite big with ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and small fridge. Very comfortable. The grounds of the residence are great - there's a nice swimming pool. You also have a place to sit in the evening outside of your room. Location is not far from the beach and 5 minutes from the Coastal Road where you can find some shops with foods, drinks etc. The hosts (and their dogs) are lovely. For the beach head to Joyehto Bar - it's the best place in the surroundings.

The apartment has everything you need like a fridge, warm water, comfortable bed and a cooking station. The location in Bijilo is perfect. Its very safe and quiet outside, even though its close to the busy areas. Its only 5 minutes walking to turntable from there you can take a car anywhere and its close to the senegambia tourist strip. Ola is a lovely host, she has positive energy and you can ask her for anything that you need.

Our stay was pleasant and everyone was very helpful. The owner, Hadiza, wasn't unfortunately on location but was very easy to reach on WhatsApp and answered very quickly. We will definitely go there again if possible.

I felt welcome, safe and well taken care of in an African heritage ambience catering specifically to African diaspora and friends of Africa guests. Cordial and polite interactions with staff and fellow guests, alike. My surprisingly spacious economy rate apartment was highly functional and tastefully furnished: A comfortable home away from home. Maroon Supermarket next door carries all of your familiar supplies from brown bread to Pine Sol and much more. Three minutes walk to the beach for a swim in the morning or entertainment at night. Refreshing pool surrounded by charming pergola apartments. When you don't feel like cooking, the adjacent restaurant will surely satisfy your palate. Overall, highly recomended! Inimbara, Abaraka bake, Imokende baa :)
