Everything! The property was a great little home away from home and perfect for a summer beach holiday, with the beach a short 5 minute walk away. The fact that the suite was on the ground floor only added to the beach holiday mood and made it very convenient to flop in and out. The suite is located in a quiet little nook off from a small square surrounded by many restaurants, a pharmacy, a hairdresser, and a convenient little supermarket, so despite foot traffic being close by, it still feels very private, peaceful and very safe. The suite is newly refurbished, and very beautifully so. It feels thoroughly luxurious, down to the glass gate opening into the patio/terrace. The suite comes with all the modern mod-cons one could ever need at a holiday getaway - a comfortable bed, air-conditioning, WiFi, clean luxurious bathroom, hairdryer, plus many more extras that make it such a treat: complete kitchen for preparing full meals (if you want, as I did), coffee machine, home made olive oil from the host’s own grove, salt, pepper, washing machine, a clothes horse, even a little safe for valuables. Ceiling-to-floor clear sliding doors make the most of bright sunny days, but day curtains and blackout curtains are also available to protect privacy. Parking was also easily available, although I didn’t have any use for it this time as I didn’t think a car was needed for lounging on the beach. The host was excellent, taking pains to get me a few extras in terms of food I asked for to tide me through the night, since I was arriving quite late in the night, and certainly after shops had closed. On the day of checkout, they also further facilitated my hastily-cobbled-together departure plans, even dropping me off at a bus stop to save me a walk in the sweltering midday sun. it was very kind of them, and they definitely went above and beyond to make my stay so enjoyable and memorable. It took me a week to write this review just because I didn't know how to write one that would do our vacation justice. Antonis was the kindest host; he welcomed us from the moment we arrived, assisted us with everything we needed throughout the vacation (there was a small ant infestation that he got rid of within hours) and even advised us on what to visit, going as far as to call acquaintances to give us some boat tour options. 😊 The room was nothing short of dreamy, more spatious than the photos give it justice, with every facility you might need (fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, hairdryer, iron & table for ironing, makeup table) and a breathtaking view of the coast at any time of the day. There's an AC in both of the rooms, and the walls are perfectly designed for temperature isolation so that not much of the heat gets inside if you keep the doors closed. Clean, tidy, and intimate, with an exit to the balcony from both the bedroom and the living room, sunbeds, and a hot tub with lights, music and bubble jets that exceeded expectations— especially in the evening, when the breeze made bathing even better. The surroundings are characteristic to a more picturesque Crete, being a bit further away from the crowds and buildings, which sets an incredibly peaceful ambience, with fireflies and sheep noise in the distance. (I loved the sheep bleating.) There aren't really insects otherwise! Everything was mosquito free. The location also welcomes you with a lovely parrot named Riko, who may seem shy at first but has an amazingly charming and sociable personality, if you're patient enough to give him attention everytime you pass by. We promised Antonis we'll come back again, and we will; it's a shame to only stay at this hotel once.

- Very high standard accomodation, luxurious modern new building - you could literally stay in your room and they will handle everything for you - Jacuzzi room is something that makes you want to stay in the hotel and just enjoy the private garden with jacuzzi - breakfast to the room - food delivery to the room from a modern greek restaurant - welcome drink and awesome bar (top notch drinks/food) - directly in front of the hotel entrance is one of the best traditional tavernas on Crete - beautiful swimming pool
