We stayed at Yaya's House for a couple of nights 17th to 19th March. There is good public transport into Venice and costs just 3 Euros for a return ticket that you buy from the Tobacco shop nearby. This gets you to the boats that you then take to get to Venice costing 9 euros each way. Guiseppe owns this place and is very helpful guiding you about Venice and the good restaurants (not the touristy ones) although we did not have the time to explore these due to limited time but had a lovely home cooked meal. The house was clean and very spacious with cooking facilities and laundry, shower etc. Towels are provided. Ideal place to rest for the night before heading out again in the morning to what ever you want to do. Buses start from around 5.00 am if you want to get to Rialto market early. The house is about a 15 minute drive from the airport. There is a big supermarket nearby- about a 7 minute walk with lots of lovely fresh veg and fruits and massive meat and fresh fish counters. If you are looking for a room with a view then this may not be the place. However you get a nice place to rest that is clean and welcoming. There is free parking on the street and it is safe as it is a nice quiet residential area. There is wifi in the property.

The apartment is lovely, very spacious and exceptionally clean. The double beds are large and very comfortable. Very close to both a bus stop (1 min walking) and a tram stop (3 mins walking), which gives you easy access to Mestre train station and the center of Venice. The tram takes 25 mins to reach Piazzale Roma. There is a supermarket close by (5-6 mins), where you can buy everything you need for breakfast (and more). We didn't cook in the apartment, but it looked like it had everything one needs to do this.

    This apartment is really nice. It's on the top floor, so it has a terrace where you can sit on chairs, eat, and chat, which is very relaxing. The entire apartment is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked, and everything is very clean. The landlord/ householder is really friendly and nice as well. I would give it top marks and recommend it to everyone.

    Beautiful new apartment, comfortable bed, very nice big plants, washing machines and dishwasher in the flat, big bedrooms, big Tvs, quiet neighborhood, shops and cafeterias nearby, good communicated with Venice & other cities (Padova, Verona, airport)
