The place is really comfortable and clean. We arrived quite late because of a train delay but our host was waiting for us and he made our stay really comfortable. The breakfast was really delicious too.

The hospitality was so great, and the family were lovely. They could drive us where ever we wanted with their tuktuk. The treehouse was very cute. The dinner was authentic Sri Lankan rice and curry, and it was amazing. They asked us what our favourite vegetables was and made food of it. Will recommend to stay here!

The Hosts are very nice, laidback people. The Water Cotagge is big, spotless clean,the bed is very comfortable. Nice clean pool. The best: the closeness of nature! Birds, squirrels, fish in the pond! Breakfast very goood homemade, best tasting fruits!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view of the Lion Rock is fantastic! The cabin was perfect for us:) Peter called me when we arrived and explained all ins and outs of the area and gave us some great advice. He was happy to answer any of our questions any time of the day. The cabin with its garden are very private and amazing for some wildlife spotting. Our kids loved it. There is also a wood-fired pizza oven in the garden. Sumith put the fire on for us and Raja swiftly organised and delivered yeast and flour from the local bakery for our pizza baking experience:) We all had a lot of fun kneading the dough and baking pizza in a real outdoor pizza oven! It was delicious:). We used bicycles provided free of charge, washing machine and there is a drinking water dispenser in the cabin, so no need to buy bottled water:) We loved seeing wild chickens coming to the garden and peacocks were always a good entertainment for the kids;) Sumith brought us, freshly picked from the garden, jackfruit to try;)

Best stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The room is very clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and each morning the owner would’ve prepared breakfast which he bought from local people and restaurants in the area. We had e.g. hoppers, omelets, pancakes with brown sugar, coconut rotti, fruits, etc. The owner also helped with a tuktuk to Dambulla, and he had a little shed to park our scooters overnight. Everything was perfect :)

I had a wonderful stay there. The property is next to the jungle with a beautiful garden where you can spend hours with watching all kind of different birds. It is just a couple of minutes walking distance to the town but it is so quiet and peaceful there. The family is lovely and they help you with everything you need. The facilities are basic but tidy and need.
