Exceptionally friendly staff that speak perfect English. I was even helped to find a pharmacy late at night with a walk into the Medina with a staff member, this level of service is truly appreciated and I am thankful. We were also provided a map and directions to all the landmarks, and the best local restaurants. The staff are what make this place exceptional above the rest. The room was exactly as pictured and very authentic for the blue city. Shower worked well. Private parking is in Bab Souk square (a man will walk up as you round the cul-de-sac and direct you up the side street hidden by a barrier) tell him you are with Casa La Hiba and he will drop the price from 40dh to 30dh for overnight parking. This price as of December 2023.

This was a very nice apartment that had all we needed. It felt safe, comfortable, clean, and cozy. It was a short walk to the central part of Chefchaouen. Our host was very helpful in answering our questions and making recommendations. The Wifi was great and a huge help as I had not had Wifi in a few days and wanted to contact family back home.

What is not to like? You are in the Charming Blue City of Chefchaouen, Morocco. After a terrific bus ride from Tanger, I was smitten on how beautiful this city is. A quick three minute taxi ride brought me directly to my apartment for the night. A nice meet and greet occurred until the owner informed me that there is no electricity in the entire complex. Before I got impatient, I immediately got a backup accommodation for the same price, but different location. Upon arriving at the apartment the mountain view was breathtaking and I had no qualms after that. An entire apartment to myself, YES! It had all the amenities which included a mini balcony with a view you can just stare at all day, walking distance to several shops, restaurants, free Wi-Fi and of course a, bidet. Mr. Hatim was very hospitable, knowledgeable and encouraging. He was just a phone call away if I needed anything. 'Casa Abdou' was all I could expect for a one night stay. Backpacking throughout Morocco is a mission and you will have magnificent moments that will be etched in your noggin which is all part of the educational experiences of solo travels. Enjoy every moment.

This place is AMAZING. I liked the photos but the place was even better. The communication with Omar was so efficient before and during our stay - he organised our lifts to and from the airport and everything was so smooth. The breakfast is fabulous as is the lovely lady that came to prepare it each morning. We have had an amazing stay and it was a bonus each having our own bedroom.

Our stay at this lovely hotel was absolutely wonderful. The room was a dream – so comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of the main attractions. But one of the most memorable highlights was the refreshing and delicious homemade mint tea they offered us. It was the perfect welcome and such a lovely, personal touch.
