Our hosts were incredibly accommodating from airport pick up to drop off. Our 6 day stay was met with constant support from the hosts, which gave us that peace of mind when needing assistance with anything. They even offered to drive us to the closest ATM, the Telekom outlet to buy a SIM, and even to the market on our first day in Honiara. If you’re thinking of hiring a car, no problem! They have a RAV4 that they hire out to their guests for $500 (Solomon $$) per day, which is a reasonable price, considering bond/insurance fees you normally pay from car rental outlets. We would definitely recommend staying at Lonely Hill Apartments. We would definitely go back and stay there. Great value for money, although a 10min drive from the town centre, it’s still a great location, being that it’s closest to the International Airport. 10\10 for sure!

The bed was comfortable. The studio room. was spacious and clean.. The kitchen had everything.Staff were friendly. But the view was more beautiful overlooking the sea.

The whole apartment was spacious, new and clean. Big kitchen with fridge. The aircon worked great (important in the solomons). The owner was super helpful and responsive. Because my flight was delayed, she arranged a late check in in the very last minute. And overall she was always very helpful and accommodating. The area felt safe and i felt like home. Great value fir money.

Geoff the owner went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.. got a room upgrade and a vehicle was on standby to go to our shopping due to the proximity of the nearest shopping center.

+ Very friendly and helpful staff, who gave us a hearty welcome, helped us organizing tours and transfers and cared for our luggage, while we were travelling to the Outer Islands. + Safe and quiet location close to the airport (perfect when visiting the Outer Islands and just a short taxi ride to the centre of Honiara centre) + Very clean, spacious, new and comfortable apartments with many amenities far above the standard of most accomodations in South Pacific (e.g. perfect AC, hot shower, free and reliable Wifi) + Free laundry service; got all our clothes washed and dried within one day + Complimentary snacks (tuna, instant noodles), water, tea, coffee and breakfast (eggs and sausages) + Certainly best value for money on Guadalcanal
