It was spacious and had nice little touches (who even needs a magnetic shoe-horn? :P and a dyson hair dryer!) Beds were comfortable, with space around to separate from the other houses. Scenery around is amazing, with the mountains as a backdrop.

A recently renovated apartment located in Hvolsvöllur, Country cottage with great view to the glacier, Eyjafjallajökull and Westman Islands features a garden. Located in Hvolsvöllur, Sleeping with the Horses provides accommodation with seating area. With free private parking, the property is 21 km from Seljalandsfoss and 49 km from Skogafoss Waterfall. The apartment has private entrance. We recently stayed at Sleeping with Horses during our journey along the south coast of Iceland. This location was great. We had the Kria unit, which was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. One of the highlights was enjoying my morning coffee taking pictures of the horses right outside our unit. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Sleeping with Horses, to anyone traveling through the area.
