Was also a handy booklet inside with great local restaurants, facts about Kanazawa, and information for a "Museum Passport" which we took full advantage of. Walking distance from food, museums, and Kanaza Castle. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone who comes to Kanazawa, and will try stay here again when I return.

The apartment was compact, but was very modern, beautifully decorated and had everything you could possibly need for a short or extended stay. There is an elevator to each floor and 1 apartment per floor, so it felt very private. There were a lot of nice touches from the hosts like water bottles in the fridge, extra appliances and even rice in the lobby. We really liked the small tatami seating area in the bedroom and the rooftop terrace with sofas and tables were you could have a drink or have a bite to eat while watching the sunset. Bill, the host, was great with suggestions of what to see and was great at communication. We liked the quiet location, but just a few minutes walk to a small geisha district and the Kanazawa loop bus. It is definitely walkable to most of the sites of Kanazawa if you don’t want to take the bus. There is also a large shopping centre, Apita, just down the street where you can find pretty much anything you need and a good selection of freshly prepared food if you don’t feel like cooking. A little gem, was the small Yakitori restaurant next door, run solely by a sweet Japanese lady. They are small dishes, but excellently prepared and delicious. We loved everything about our stay at W & M House. Would definitely recommend!

At the apartment complex, every unit has bed linen and towels. Brand new apartment with a clever layout. Very hi tech with 2 toilets a spacious wet room, mini sauna and double sinks. Great for a family or 2 couples. Coffee machine, pods, mochi and drinks were a nice touch. Location was great, only a few mins walk to great restaurants, convenience stores and shops. Self checkin was straightforward, using a pin code at the front door. Apartment is up one flight of stairs which was no trouble for us but if you have mobility issues or multiple heavy bags it may not be suitable. Can’t recommend this place more highly, was so much more spacious than a hotel room! If you’re catching the orange loop bus from the station, it’s about a 10 min walk from the bus stop. There is also a parking bay right opposite the apartment which cost about ¥800 for the day and ¥1200 for overnight. Loved this place 🤩

There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment features family rooms. I loved the open space, the beds, the floors. A great first experience of a Japanese apartment. The neighborhood is fantastic with the museum, coffee shops, the garden, great restaurants. Would go back again!

The accommodation is non-smoking. We had a fantastic stay! Everything was perfect: the place was spotless, modern, and felt brand new. The kitchen was fully equipped, and having both a washing machine and dryer was a big plus. The rooms were cozy and spacious. Parking right in front of the door was very convenient. We received a warm welcome and excellent support throughout our stay through our great host.
