The area was quiet and scenic, yet the city center was within walking distance, saving us from searching for parking. It was also a great base for exploring the city. A thoughtful touch was the voucher for a free hot drink at a nearby café.

At the apartment complex, some units are fitted with a coffee machine and chocolates or cookies. We loved our stay at Matakana Luxury, it is the perfect romantic getaway! It was so easy to get to from Auckland and is the most perfect location in the heart of Matakana Village. We wanted to explore the area and it was only 5 mins to Omaha Beach and 15 to Tawharanui regional park. The gorgeous outdoor baths and comfy beds were an amazing bonus! Thanks to the hosts for accommodating the best anniversary weekend ever!

Had a concert at Bruce Masons theatre and could walk. Apartment nice and clean, had everything we needed and more. The owners were awesome for communicating. This apartment also comes with a patio that doubles up as an outdoor dining area. I love everything about this apartment and the host. They left little things like chocolates for us to enjoy and there was so much beverages (sachets) and condiments, cooking equipment, etc. It was so clean, comfortable and the host was fantastic. When i thought the induction cooker wasnt working, she told me she would send someone over with another one; so responsive! Our family had a great time cooking steaks and having our meal at the little garden just outside the apartment. The location was also superb; very central! I would highly recommend this location!

A private entrance leads guests into the apartment, where they can enjoy some chocolates or cookies. A dressing room and laundry service is also available. We were coming late at night and Crystal provided us with a whole basket of goodies so that we could make breakfast in the morning without the need to go to the grocery store. This was a very nice surprise and much appreciated. The apartment is small but neat and has everything one might need. Nice little backyard with lime trees. 40 min drive to Auckland downtown.

Fantastic apartment with view of harbor - easy to sit for hours just watching ferries come and go. The owners were excellent communicators. We had an issue with one appliance and they immediately responded to help diagnose and solve (problem was caused by a previous guest).

Our last night in Auckland and we cooked a nice meal. View is beautiful and the apartment was lovely. You are just a step away from the heart of Auckland, shops and great eatery's. Plus the ferries are all near you as well.
